Our fees vary depending on the extent of our involvement and the projects complexity.

Initial Meeting. There is usually no charge for an initial meeting. If outside our immediate area there is normally a small mileage charge.

Design Fees. Design fees vary according to the room type and the scope of the work but the following provides a guide for design services per room.

• Colour Scheme and sample board £175
• Colour Scheme, Sample Board, Survey and furniture layout £250
• Colour Scheme, Sample Board, Elevations and simple 3d model £375
• Colour Scheme, Sample Board, Elevations, model and electrical/lighting plan £425
• 3d cad drawings can be produced if required £250

 

Depending on the scope of the brief we would normally develop more than one design concepts for consideration.

Scheme Approval
Once a scheme is approved we would normally charge £45 per hour to work up a comprehensive costing menu, timing plan and detailed specifications. Breaking down in detail labour, all implementation costs, making costs for soft furnishings if appropriate and supply of fabric, furniture, accessories and fees. The client being provided with a very clear cost and timing schedule at the outset.

Scheme Development
Turnkey – We have a comprehensive compliment of tradesmen who have a proven history of quality work. We would normally quote cost plus 15-30%, depending on the value of the contract, for implementing a scheme in full.

Design and oversee – Although we prefer to work with our tried and trusted team we can alternatively oversee your own tradesmen to ensure the scheme is implemented correctly. We would normally charge an hourly rate and agree up front the number of hours we will be required.

Supply only – We have a vast supplier base including, furniture, wallpapers, fabrics, carpets, lighting and rugs. All products we supply are competitively priced.
We can also can provide a re-upholstering and curtain making service. Estimates can be provided if the dimensions and a picture of the window/furniture sent to us. As guide the cost for recovering armchairs will be in the region of £200-£400 plus material and sofas £425-£750 plus material.

Personal Shopping
Id homes offer accompanied shops. Accompanying clients to shops, showrooms, fairs and auction houses in the South West and London to advise on suitable fabrics, furniture and accessories for a clients projects. The fee for this service is £250 for half a day and £450 for a full day.

House Doctor
id homes is happy to visit clients houses to advise on furniture placement, lighting plans and styling ideas. The fee is £65 per hour from arrival.

Disbursements - Postage and telephone charges are included (exc. international calls). Delivery charges, travel costs and photocopies are charged at cost.

Payment - a design fee of 75% is payable in engagement with the balance payable upon presentation of the design plans. Items which are bespoke will be charged in full at point of ordering.
All prices exclude Vat which is charged at the prevailing rate.
