The design is fantastic, there was a huge amount of work involved in the changes but we were always kept involved and updated on progress. Our bedroom is amazing we now make the most of the views and I now have more wardrobe space than I have clothes, a great excuse to go buy some more! We were so impressed with id’s professionalism and creativity that we also
briefed them to redesign our en-suite.
Brief
Our client wanted to introduce an en-suite of the main bedroom without sacrificing the number of rooms. They wanted a natural feel to the ensuite, with a free-standing bath and separate shower. The overall look for the bathroom was to be a chic, boutique style that had personality and impact, and would not date. The redesign should also create a relaxed, uncluttered, warm feel for the bedroom areas which were lacking natural light.
Solution
We created an opening from the main bedroom into an adjoining bedroom. This room was divided in half, so it still retained the much needed bedroom space. The relaxing and natural feel of the bathroom was achieved through the use of oak and matt tiles, while the styling of the room was classic with contemporary fittings, impact and drama being created through the use of black tiles. The conversion also created built-in towel storage and the shower featured handy recesses for toiletries. The guest and main bedroom were made to feel warm and cosy through the choice of colour and materials.
The scheme was kept neutral with colour added through the soft furnishings to fit in with the rustic feel of the location and property. Solid oak furniture was chosen and complemented by bespoke wardrobes, doors and natural flooring.
