The company offers a wealth of experience and skills
About Lisa (Interior Designer)
Lisa’s passions are houses and food! Graduating with a 1st class business degree she started her career designing food ranges for Sainsburys. “The whole ethos at Sainsburys was “retail is detail”, its an ethos I’ve brought to renovating and designing properties whether its seeking out the perfect vintage button for a cushion down to making sure the right choice of bulb is made for a light!”
After the purchase of a large renovation project Lisa undertook an interior design diploma to help with the renovation of her own home. This coincided with the opportunity to move back into corporate life as Brand Director for global and UK marketing projects. “The role was fantastic it really honed my project management, people and budget management skills” But she had always had an desire to start her own business and decided to put her house renovation, interior design and project management skills together by starting her own business; initially developing her own renovation and rental portfolio then undertaking work for private clients.
Lisa believes that her strength comes from great vision combined with a fanatical attention to detail. Understanding and listening to what clients want to achieve and helping them navigate the myriad of choices available. Having a property development background she believes also comes into its own. “the ability to keep close financial control on projects and being creative in finding solutions that look amazing but don’t break the bank is a real bonus for clients”.
About Paul (Chartered Architect)
Both Paul and Lisa believe that great design makes places better. Sometimes this means designing a new building, creating an extension design or sometimes it’s just a change of layout to an existing footprint. Which ever route is required Paul has over 25 years experience on building projects ranging from traditional housing to listed buildings. Having developed a broad range of skills from feasibility, design through to on-site administration.
Good design always means a careful and sensitive understanding of the needs of the client and every project is approached individually without a stylistic agenda. The only preconception is that all successful projects are the result of good communication and collaboration.
